Product Testing
EPIK Electronics , like other e-tailers, ships items in the condition they were received from the original manufacturer/distributor. EPIK Electronics does not conduct product testing before shipping any merchandise.

"Must Be Purchased With Hardware"
The "must be purchased with hardware" precept is mandated by the software publisher. In accordance, EPIK Electronics customers must purchase some type of product which falls under the general category of computer hardware in order to purchase applicable software. Hardware is classified as any component that will be used when assembling a computer system (a hard drive, motherboard, processor and a floppy drive are all examples of merchandise that will qualify). There is no specific or set price the hardware has to be, merely that there is some sort of eligible hardware present in the order itself.

Money Back Guarantee/Refund Policy
All merchandise unless otherwise indicated may be returned within 30 days from the original invoice date for a refund. CPUs must be returned within 7 days from the invoice date for a refund. A return authorization number is required for all returns. A 20% restocking fee may apply. Additional deductions may be made for CPU returns to reflect the current market value. These terms apply to all refunds. Most products are shipped with a refund/replacement guarantee period unless otherwise noted in the product listing. Customers must inform EPIK Electronics of any order discrepancy within 7 days from the invoice date so that we may investigate and resolve the situation accordingly.

Technical Support
EPIK Electronics does not offer any sort of technical assistance. We cannot offer advice on compatibility of items, make product recommendations, provide technical support or sales advice. We post all of the information the manufacturer provides us with for your convenience. Please contact the manufacturer directly for accurate answers to your technical questions or for additional information or specifications that are not posted at EPIK Electronics .

Processing Time
You can expect your order to be processed within approximately 24-48 hours, provided the items are in stock and there are no problems with payment verification. EPIK Electronics does not guarantee same day-shipping. Orders are not processed on weekends and holidays.


Back-orders
EPIK Electronics does not sell backordered merchandise. We will never purposely charge a customer for an item that we do not physically have in stock at the time of purchase. Occasional inventory discrepancies may occur due to inaccurate inventory counts or possibly because the last few items on our shelves are damaged and/or not in a condition that we can in good faith sell to a customer. In that instance, we will refund your credit/debit card for the item, along with any applicable tax fees and shipping charges. An automated email will also be sent to your EPIK Electronics login to alert you of the situation.

Order status
EPIK Electronics will keep you informed of your order status via e-mail. All tracking information will be emailed to your EPIK Electronics ID once your order has shipped (except when an APO/FPO is the shipping destination). You may also acquire your order status and other live updates by logging in to your account on our website.

Security is our number one priority. Once we receive your information through the internet, only trusted, authorized employees will process it to make sure your information is handled with the utmost level of security.

You will receive a credit for the full amount to your credit/debit card in approximately 1-2 business days. We strongly discourage sending order cancellation requests via email because it is unlikely we will receive the message in time to void the order due to the sheer volume of emails we receive each day.

Purchase Agreement
By accepting delivery of any product delivered from EPIK Electronics ("EPIK Electronics"), you ("Customer") agree to be bound by the terms and conditions listed below. You and EPIK Electronics agree that the following terms and conditions are the exclusive terms governing the sales transaction between Customer and EPIK Electronics . Any attempt to alter, supplement, modify or amend these terms and conditions by the Customer will be considered a material alteration of this agreement and, therefore, are null and void. In addition, these terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, without prior written notice. Therefore, please check these terms and conditions carefully each time you place an order with or accept delivery of any goods from EPIK Electronics .

Product Return Procedure
To return a product in compliance with EPIK Electronics 's satisfaction guarantee, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") number within the guarantee return period for the product (described above). All RMA requests must be filed online. EPIK Electronics will not accept returns without prior authorization and a RMA number. Once issued, RMA numbers are valid for 15 days within which return products must be received by EPIK Electronics . RMA numbers will not be extended or reissued. Customer should prominently display the RMA number(s) on the shipping label of boxes containing the returned product.
Customer is solely responsible for shipping any returned product. Customer agrees to use only reputable carriers capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment. Customer agrees to bear all shipping and insurance charges and all risk of loss for the return product during shipment. Customer agrees that all returned products will be 100% complete, in re-sellable condition, and will include the original packaging material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer. If any component of the returned product is missing, EPIK Electronics 's Return Procedure will be breached and EPIK Electronics may in its sole and absolute discretion reject the entire return or choose to impose additional charges against the customer for replacement of the missing component(s).
EPIK Electronics will not refund to Customer the original shipping charges. In addition, EPIK Electronics will assess a 20% restocking fee against the Customer's account on all returns for refund.
Warranties; All product sold "AS-IS" or "With All Faults"
EPIK Electronics IS A DISTRIBUTOR ONLY. PRODUCTS SOLD BY EPIK Electronics ARE NOT MANUFACTURED BY EPIK Electronics . THE PRODUCTS MAY, HOWEVER, BE COVERED BY EACH MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY, SERVICE, AND SUPPORT POLICY (IF PRESENT). EPIK Electronics ASSIGNS AND PASSES THROUGH TO THE CUSTOMER ANY WARRANTY OF THE MANUFACTURER, AND CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT IT SHALL HAVE RECOURSE ONLY UNDER SUCH WARRANTIES AND ONLY AS AGAINST THE MANUFACTURER OF THE PRODUCTS. IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES EPIK Electronics 'S MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCTS SOLD. EPIK Electronics SHALL NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BE LIABLE UPON A CLAIM OR ACTION IN CONTRACT, TORT, INDEMNITY OR CONTRIBUTION, OR OTHER CLAIMS RELATING TO THE PRODUCTS IT SELLS WHICH EXCEEDS THIS LIABILITY LIMIT. Recordings
EPIK ELECTRONICS does not consent to having any telephone calls recorded and reserves the right to terminate any call that is being recorded. Customer agrees not to record any call with EPIK ELECTRONICS unless Customer has provided clear and conspicuous notice to EPIK ELECTRONICS and has received prior written consent from EPIK ELECTRONICS.

General Terms and Conditions
Orders
An order is not binding upon EPIK Electronics until it is accepted; EPIK Electronics must receive payment before it will accept an order. Payment for product(s) ordered is due prior to shipment. Customer can make payment by credit card, or some other method prearranged with EPIK Electronics . You agree to pay the amount(s) due as specified on the invoice, and you agree to pay interest on all past-due sums at a rate of 1.5% per month or the highest rate allowed by law, whichever is greater.

Shipping Charges
Your total cost for purchase of any product will include shipping and handling charges shown on the EPIK Electronics invoice.

Risk of Loss
EPIK Electronics will arrange for shipment of ordered product(s) to the Customer, Free On Board (F.O.B.) shipping point, meaning title to the product(s) -- excepting software-- and risk of loss passes to the Customer upon delivery to the carrier. EPIK Electronics reserves a purchase money security interest in the product(s) until its receipt of the full amount due. Customer agrees to allow EPIK Electronics to sign appropriate documents on Customer's behalf to permit EPIK Electronics to protect its purchase money security interest. Title to software will remain with the licensor(s). All software is provided subject to the license agreement of the software maker. Customer agrees to be bound by any software license agreement once the seal on the package is broken. EPIK Electronics will advise Customer of estimated shipping dates, but EPIK Electronics will, under no circumstances, be responsible for delays in delivery, and associated damages, due to events beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, acts of God or public enemy, acts of federal, state or local government, fire, floods, civil disobedience, strikes, lockouts, godzilla, and freight embargoes.


Severability
If any provision contained in this agreement is or becomes invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in whole or in part, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect the remaining provisions and portions of this agreement, and the invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified so as to have the most similar result that is valid and enforceable.

Waiver
The failure of either party to require performance by the other party of any provision of this agreement shall not affect in any way the first party's right to require such performance at any time thereafter. Any waiver by either party of a breach of any provision in this agreement shall not be taken or held by the other party to be a continuing waiver of that provision unless such waiver is made in writing.

Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions, together with EPIK Electronics 's invoice regarding the products ordered by Customer, are the complete and exclusive agreement between EPIK Electronics and Customer, and they supersede all prior or contemporaneous proposals, oral or written, understandings, representations, conditions, warranties, and all other communications between EPIK Electronics and Customer relating to the subject products. This agreement may not be explained or supplemented by any prior course of dealings or trade by custom or usage.

Information Collection and Use

EPIK Electronics is the sole owner of information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to any outside parties, except as outlined in this policy. We collect information from our customers to process orders and better serve you with pertinent information, such as order confirmations and order status updates. Information collected includes your name, shipping address, telephone numbers, and e-mail address.. We also require you to submit a username and password of your choice for your future access to your account information.   • Can I change my order after I have already submitted it?

  • Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1 business day. Your order can be changed before it is marked "Processed" on your Account page. After this, it is already ordered and awaiting shipping, and so would be considered a return, subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover our costs in processing the order.
  • I received a defective item. Now what?

  • We apologize for the inconvience, and we'll do the best we can to get you either your money back or a replacement. All RMA requests are at the moment handled by email. Please send an email to sales@epikelectronics.comwith the subjectRMA Request and we will contact you as soon as possible information on how to proceed.
  • What does Epikelectronics.com do with my information?

  • Your information is stored safely and securely in our database and is accessible to only those who require it to complete the order. We will never give away or sell your private information. Furthermore, all payment processing (credit card transactions) is done by Google Checkout, as Google is an extremely reputable company. Your credit card information never passes through our servers; we do not process nor store that information.
  • How long will it take to process my order?

  • Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1 business day of payment. If we do not have all the required information to complete the order, you will receive an email from a member of our sales team asking to verify. In the event that there is a delay longer than 3 business days, you will receive an email explaining the reason and have the option to request a refund and cancel your order.
  • I have a suggestion for your site, or I encountered an error! Who do I inform?

  • We're always open for suggestions on improving our customers' experience on the site. Also, though they may disagree, our web developers aren't prefect, so you may encounter errors on the site. With either case, we would very much appreciate an email using the Contact Us form or sending an email to one of the addresses listed.

    • Defective and DOA items are fully returnable and refundable.
    • Non-defective, working items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
    • Damaged items are not returnable.

    Return Policies

    All packaging, accessories, equipment, components, cables and documents must be returned with the item. Items are accepted for replacement at the discretion of Epikelectronics.com except when required by law. Products with specific policies regarding returns and refunds respective of their deadlines must be returned within the time periods specified for each item, usually 20 days. All items sold through Epikelectronics.com are subject to our terms and conditions. Damaged items cannot be returned. Physically altered items are considered damages and will not be accepted for returns. Products that have mail-in rebates and those rebates have been filed are non-returnable. There is a 20% restocking fee for all returnable items.

    Shipping charges are non-refundable.

    All products must have a completed RMA form with an RMA authorization number in order to be processed by our warehouse. All items without an RMA will be refused at our warehouse.

    Epikelectronics.com has made every effort to make this list as complete as possible however there are a few exceptions to this document. If you are unsure if an item is eligible for returns please contactsales@epikelectronics.com.

    Refunds

    Due to certain manufacturer restrictions only eligible items can be returned. All items are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Refunds can only be processed with a completed RMA form.

    Replacements

    The majority of products can be returned within 20 days for a replacement of the same make and model. In order for replacements to be processed an RMA form must be sent and all product packaging and materials must be included.

    Shipment Refusals

    All shipment refusals are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

    Manufacturer's Warranties

    Epikelectronics.com does not offer warranties however many of the products we sell do include manufacturer warranties. When products are covered by warranty they it is stated on the Manufacturer's web site. Please contact customer service for specific information regarding specific products. Products that fall into this category are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. Certain items can only be returned to the product manufacturer, Epikelectronics.com does not accept returns for these types of products unless otherwise required by law. Item in this category under the warranty policy provided by the manufacturer for repair/replacement etc, explicitly requires that these services are processed directly by the consumer of the item.


    CPU Return Policy

    Due to manufacturer requirements refunds can only be issued within 7 days of sale. Damaged CPU?s including CPU?s damaged through improper handling or installation cannot be accepted for refund or exchange through Epikelectronics.com. Processors are subject to a 20% restocking fee. To return items of this type please complete and submit and RMA authorization form.

    CPU replacements can be issued within 20 days of sale. We do not accept damaged processors.

    Memory (RAM modules, USB) Return Policy

    - USB devices returned missing constituent pieces.

    - Damaged memory (physically) cannot be returned to Epikelectronics.com.

    - Kits that are returned incomplete.

    - Modules that contained heat sinks which are returned missing heat sinks.

    - Modules missing warranty label, missing manufacturer label containing model no. and part number.

    All items returned for a refund must do so within 20 days and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. For additional factory coverage contact the specific manufacturer.

    If a product has a mail-in rebate that has been filed it is not returnable to Epikelectronics.com. Products missing UPC codes or serial numbers are NOT returnable. If an item is missing the UPC code please contact the manufacturer for a replacement.


    Laptops, Desktops, Tablet PC Return Policy

    All Laptops/Desktops/Tablet PC?s are non-refundable. Laptops/Desktops/Tablet PC?s do not fall under any other category of return. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy. Laptops/Desktops/Tablet PC?s deemed defective can be returned within 20 days of sale only. Refund requests will not be granted if the Laptops/Desktops/Tablet PC is found to be non-defective and will be returned to you at your expense. Please be sure you are interested in purchasing products of this type before you place an order. Once an order is confirmed, you have indicated you agree to this policy.


    Toner, Ink CD/DVD Media & Consumable Item Return Policy

    Items of this type are only accepted within 20 days of invoice data and only if the item is sealed/unopened in its original vendor packaging. To return items of this type please complete and submit and RMA authorization form.

    Software Return Policy

    Unopened Retail software may be returned within 20 days for a refund. OEM software is non-refundable. Defective Software (Retail or OEM) is returnable for replacement within 20 days.

    Opened OEM or Retail is only returnable for replacement, replacement RMA?s are only honored for defective or damaged software. Retail software is only returnable within 20 days of invoice date if the packaging is unopened and factory sealed. No software returns are accepted after 20 days. OEM software is non-refundable after purchase. Epikelectronics.com is not responsible for incompatible system/software issues and these issues do not qualify as defective or damaged. Please check before purchasing to ensure compatibility with your system. Please consult the individual software publisher for technical questions including minimum system requirements, before purchasing from Epikelectronics.com.

    LCD Monitor Return Policy

    LCD Monitors are non-refundable. Defective LCD Monitors are dependent on manufacturer policies and can be returned for a replacement within 20 days. For and LCD Monitor to be considered defective there must be at minimum 8 dead LCD pixels.

    Television Policy

    Epikelectronics.com customers are encouraged to inspect all shipments to ensure the condition of the shipment box is in satisfactory condition. An adult (18 or older) is required to sign for packages to complete shipments. By signing this release you are agreeing to Epikelectronics.com?s Terms and Conditions.You cannot return a television to Epikelectronics.com for a refund and that the condition of the delivery meets your expectations. Please read manufacturer documentation to discern applicable warranty coverage, if any. Shipping damage must be reported within 48 hours of the products delivery.

    In order for any LCD pixel screen product to be considered defective there must be a minimum of 8 dead pixels, for that item to be eligible for replacement or refund through any applicable Epikelectronics.com Return policy.
